Our Goals
- To serve as the University's source for planning, and design recommendations for the successful development of the built environment.
- To ensure that all capital improvement projects are designed in accordance IHL requirements, University’s approved master plan, building codes, and governing laws
- To ensure that the design and construction of the infrastructure essential to support campus functions is adequate to support the mission of the University and anticipated growth.
- To serve as an advocate for the disabled and ensure the requirements of the American Disabilities Act are met or exceeded.
- To ensure all construction projects are administered per the requirements of the construction documents.
- To ensure all projects are designed with sustainability and energy conservation in mind.
