Improve Morrill Rroad

Description: Reconstruct Morrill Road from Hardy Street to President’s Circle, add curb & gutter, repair sidewalks, construct new handicap curb cuts, reconstruct intersection between President’s Circle and Morrill Road to remove 3-way stop.

Constraints/Restrictions: Morrill Road is scheduled to close as shown on the attached drawing beginning Monday, June11, 2007, and remain closed for the duration of the construction project (completion expected prior to August 1, 2007).

Access to the gated parking on the east side of Allen Hall and the service area behind Swalm Hall will be through the south entrance to the gated lot which is currently closed off by bollards.

Although there will not be a functional gate at the south entrance to the lot, signage will be in place and the requirement for a properly displayed gated parking decal will be strictly enforced.

The parking lot immediately south of Hand Lab as well as the parking lot immediately south of Morrill Road will be closed for the duration of the project.

The newly constructed parking on Hardy Extended is scheduled to be open for use beginning Monday, June 11, 2007.
