Road Paving Project

Description: Water Loop Expansion - Road Paving

Road Closures:

Over the next week, several areas are planned to be paved with asphalt. All areas that have been excavated for the water loop expansion project, including Bully Blvd, Magruder Street, and several parking lots will receive asphalt, time and weather permitting, beginning Saturday morning.

Preparations for the asphalt will begin Friday morning in the McCarthy Gymnasium gated parking lot, and will continue Friday afternoon after 4:00 P.M. in other locations.

Beginning Saturday morning and throughout the day, the base course of asphalt will be installed in all areas shown in the image below (Marked in red). After the base course has been installed in all areas, the wearing surface will be installed at Bully Blvd and Magruder Street. If weather does not permit this work to occur on Saturday, it will be shifted to next Wednesday 11/25. The surface course for all locations not completed on Saturday will be installed on Monday 11/23.
